September/October 2021 shipping info:
We are out of the studio/office 9/24-10/6. Orders will resume shipping 10/7 and will be shipped in the order they were received. We hope to have everything in the mail by 10/13. Our regular 1-4 day turnaround time will resume as of 10/7.
*Please keep in mind that Monday 10/12 is a federal/postal holiday.
Please check the lead time of EACH ITEM prior to ordering! Some items have longer lead times than others. The lead time of each item is in purple.*If you're ordering multiple items, the longest lead time will apply. To avoid extended wait times, order items with longer lead times separately.
🖤 USPS is still experiencing delays in some areas due to continued increased package volume and a reduced workforce as well as delays in some areas due to inclement weather and staff shortages.
💜 Please allow packages extra time to arrive and be sure to check your tracking regularly so that you are aware of delays or any potential issues with delivery. (*Be sure to track directly via the USPS link as that will always have the most up-to-date information.)

⚠️Some packages are taking longer to show as accepted once they have been shipped. Instead, they appear as PRETRANSIT. This is happening when packages are picked up from us but are not scanned into the system properly. Instead, these packages appear as though they have not been shipped when this is not the case.
✅If your package is showing as PRETRANSIT please give it extra time to be processed by USPS. ♥ Most packages are typically processed w/in 1-3 business days. Some are taking 3-5 days. Some are taking longer. This is due to nationwide delays w/in the USPS system due to unprecedented package volume and backlogged sort facilities. Please remain patient. Your package should be processed soon!
*Not currently accepting rush orders.
Tracking is provided once your order has been shipped, and it is highly suggested that you monitor your shipment closely via USPS.com so that you will be aware of any delays.
*Please allow 24-72 hours after the label is created for tracking to start showing, as the USPS tracking system has been delayed at times, and, in some cases, packages haven't been scanned at pick up and don't get scanned as accepted until being processed at a USPS plant.

♡ International customers: There are still some delays when shipping to international destinations. This depends on your country/region and is frequently changing. Please note - the estimated delivery date for International orders may vary from the estimated 2-4 weeks.
*As of November 2020 - Not currently accepting International orders to destinations other than Canada.

General shipping information:
♥Pieces of fur under 1 yard (craft squares) will generally ship within 2-5 days.
♥For fur by the yard (1/2 yd +) the wait time is typically 2-5 days for *most* colors.
*Be sure to check the listing details to see the shipping time for each fur.
★Please note: shipping charges apply for items over 16oz. This includes faux fur by the yard and by the half yard. Shipping charges will be billed post-purchase once the order has been packaged for shipping. Total cost is determined by the final size, weight, and destination of the package.
★On some occasions, we may not have enough of a particular fur to fill an order (smaller pieces included- especially for multiples of one product). If that happens we will email you to let you know and fill the order when the fur comes in.
All items are shipped via USPS First Class Mail unless Priority is paid for as an upgrade. (Please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org for shipping upgrade information.)
Every shipment will have a tracking number. This is sent automatically once your order has been shipped.
Shipping information and any order updates will be sent to the email used during checkout - please be sure to provide an email address that you check regularly.
Please note that Fauxfurboutique.com is not responsible for events that occur as a result of the actions of USPS or events outside of our control such as, but not limited to, weather delays, lost packages, late deliveries, stolen packages, etc.
★Orders will be shipped to the address listed with your payment. We are not able to update your address- orders MUST ship to the address used with payment!
*For International destinations: Please inquire regarding shipping fees prior to ordering so that a custom listing can be created for you. Should an order be placed without paying adequate shipping costs, an invoice will be sent for the remaining amount owed. (Invoices will be sent after fur is packaged and weighed - this is because the total cost depends on the size and weight of the package.) International orders will not be shipped until the additional invoice has been paid.
